MARK-AEC Industries Pvt. Ltd., (MAEC in short) was incorporated in 1964 under the Indian Company's Act. It was originally founded in 1959 as 'Associated Engineering Corporation' (AEC). MAEC remembers with pride its very humble beginning. It was conceived over lunch-table discussions of three friends in 1958 (a fourth one joined later), who dreamt of starting their own Enterprise. The started the Company with a little more than dreams in their hearts, fire in their bellies and an intense interest in Power Transmission and Torque.
MAEC has its own factory in Kolkata, the commercial hub of Eastern India. This region with its concentration of Heavy Industries (Steel, Aluminium, Automobile, Oil-Refining, Petro-Chemicals, Fertilizers etc.) offered an exciting challenge. It is in these Heavy Industries that MAEC obtained a near-perfect awareness of Torque, Power and Impact loads and have internalized its metallurgical and design implications. Today, MAEC sure-footedly produces products that work at specified Torque or Impact loads, because of the metallurgical and dimensional accuracy of its products and our superior designing capability.
