FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics) Pigments :
The KROMATIKS range of high quality pigment pastes offer users a wide range of distinct colour shades, specially formulated to impart weather ability and colour fastness. All KROMATIKS pigment pastes are based on stable, lightfast pigments and reactive media.
The colour pastes are made using a specifically formulated, monomer-free unsaturated polyester resin as the medium (vehicle). This vehicle resin is compatible with almost all known polyester resins and gelcoats.
KROMATIKS colour pastes are a blend of top quality pigment powders (inorganic and organic) finely dispersed into the monomer-free unsaturated polyester resin for maximum storage stability. The pigment powders used are designed for each particular applications, whether your application is in the automobile body building workshops, FRP and cultured marble industries, SMC and DMC manufacturers, overhead storage tanks manufacturers, etc.
KROMATIKS pigment pastes are to be used at 8% and 12% in clear polyester gelcoat and at between 3% and 5% in clear polyester backing resin. All the colours are manufactured to a tolerance of CIELAB D.E.0.5 from a master standard. Uniformity of the colour can be affected by:
1) Batch variation of the colour of the clear resin or gelcoat particularly with paler shades.
2) Incorrect weighing of the colour paste. The addition must be done by weight due to variation in specific gravities of the colour paste.
3) Varying gelcoat thickness.
4) Inaccurately added catalyst and accelerators.

Press Boards, Pre-Compressed Boards
Pressboards is a low density board made from
Cotton Fibre. This board is particularly suited to applications where the Primary requirement is electrical rather than mechanical strength.
Precompressed Board is made of 100% electrical grade unbleached Sulphate kraftwood pulp. The board is dried under restraint in the wet stage to give a board with exceptional electrical and mechanical strength required for Power and Distribution transformer application. |

for Electrical, Electronic and other speciality applications, including printed tapes, Precision die cut components and lables. It encompass all Insulation classes from Y to H i.e. 950C-1800C.
POLYAMIDE / POLYIMIDE / FLURO-POLYMER TAPES :-
Nomex, Kapton, Teflon ( of Dupont ) are Class H material is Combination with special adhesive is an excellent insulator, ideally suited for General and traction motor manufacturing.
POLYESTER TAPES :-
Self Adhesive Polyester film based tapes class B insulation is used in manufacturing Capacitors and Transformers.
SPECIALITY / INDUSTRIAL / SPLICING TAPES :-
Self Adhesive tapes for application includes tapes for Capacitors, Bond leering tapes, Industrial Masking and Studio splicing.
GLASS FABRIC TAPES :-
Glass Fabric Tapes are made of closely woven Glass Fibres with rubber, acrylic or silicon adhesives.
METAL FOIL TAPES :-
Metal foil tapes are comfortable, conductors and heat reflective used for high temperature EMI/RFI shielding.
TAPES FOR SHOE INDUSTRY :-
Self Adhesive Cotton / Nylon tapes are used in Shoe Uppers For reinforcing leather and stabilizing the upper edges. |
Phenol Formal Dehyde Resin - ( P.F. Resin )
Phenolic Resin for processing aids for reinforcement of Rubber compounds such as Nitrile, SBR, Natural. It is Recommended in manufacturing Rubberized Sheets, Auto-Mobile Kits, V-belts, Gaskets, Oil Seals, O rings.
Phenolic Resin for up-grading Polychloroprene contact Adhesives such as neoprene adhesives. It would give Bonds which show no deterioration at temperature upto 600C (1400F). |
